I love reading encouraging words from other bloggers and writers. It inspires my creativity and fuels my passion for motherhood, writing and living with purpose.
Here are some of my favorite blog posts lately...
One of my all-time favorite reads - this post about encouraging your children in their endeavors by expressing to them how much you love watching them participate, do or create, rather than to harp on what they can do better, is just beautiful.
My dad sent me this fantastic article about not giving up, with a true story about a man who was badly burned on his legs, was told he would never walk again, but pushed himself to run so hard that he went on to compete in the Olympics.
I found this post through Kelly's Korner from the blog A Magical Childhood about "What a 4 year old Should Know". It's easy to get caught up in comparing what your kid can do versus his or her peers. This really keeps all the comparing in perspective.
I loved this post from Crystal at Money Saving Mom about focusing on making a difference to others instead of searching for ways to make yourself happy.
I thought this message from Jill Savage, found of Hearts at Home, was really unique - using your pain and negative experiences to help others.
This recent guest post on Blue-Eyed Bride about not asking "why?" in the event of a tragedy, illness or setback, but instead looking for God's presence, was so thought-provoking for me.
